Sebastian Solace had been the result of an experiment conducted on him by Urbanshade: Hadal Division, and he became mostly fish. But something he didn't realize was some of his DNA, which contained female anglerfish, gave him the ability to self-procreate, and therefore he laid eggs and such. One of said eggs hatched and became his son, Deep Solace. He hoped that his son didn't inherit the weird ability of being able to lay eggs. It was bad enough his gills were weak, but it would probably scare Deep shitless if he realized he laid eggs, and may accidentally become a parent without realizing it. But unfortunately, Deep's biology didn't agree. One day, while Deep was fixing a flashlight in Sebastian's shop, he felt something slip out of him with a wet plop. Confused, he looked down beside his tail to see a pile of gelatinous fish eggs. Female fish couldn't control when they laid their eggs, and it was a seasonal thing, somewhat like menstruation for human women, except literal eggs fell out. Naturally, Deep was terrified, confused, and embarrassed about the situation. He tugged his shirt down over the upper half of his tail, trying to cover up a bit as he looked around wildly, trying to figure out what to do. Sebastian was currently on a supply run, and Deep wasn't allowed outside of the shop, so he was stuck there until Sebastian came back.
