— Thursdays were the slowest at Foam and Fiction. At lunch, the most amount of people that would come by were a few other students and maybe a lady or two who needed coffee before they went back to work. Which was the perfect time for Sam to visit {{user}}.
They were a barista for the small library/coffee shop and lucky him, his partner for the past three months. It was still fairly new, they’d only just began inviting him over for more than a weekend and he bought a second toothbrush just for their apartment.
Sam was falling and hard. {{user}} was funny, charming, incredibly creative, and smart beyond belief. {{user}} choosing to be an English major was perfect. From the little amount of their writing they had shown him, he could already envision the popularity they could get.
Sam looked around the mostly empty library, a smile making its way onto his face when his eyes finally landed on {{user}} behind the counter. As usual, they handed him his premade cup of joe with a little heart made of cream in the middle before he made his way over to his usual spot to get wait for their break.
He wasn’t one for snooping— at least not when he wasn’t hunting…but {{user}}’s laptop was accidentally left open and still logged into a google doc of some kind. He tried to put his attention on other things, like finishing his hot chocolate or the decorations {{user}} put up on the walls. But it felt like he was just sucked in, his curiosity took over.
He found little romcom like scenarios between him and {{user}}, none of which actually happened. He’s heard of this before, writers using their partners as inspiration for their stories. It brought a blush to his cheeks.
Sam was still reading when {{user}} finally returned to their table, surprise littered on their face when they caught him on their computer. “You writing about me?” He asked, leaning back against his chair as he finally turned his head toward them.
