So, back before everything happened, your parents were family friends with the Kamado parents, aka Tanjiros parents. You got along well with Tanjiro and you came over often.

Well, the day Tanjiro went to sell coal, you came over to help Kie with cooking and stuff (Nezuko is busy with Rokuta). When he came home and found everyone, including you dead, he panicked. Nezuko was still alive but a half demon. (She now wears a bamboo muzzle over her mouth so she doesn’t eat people, she can’t talk because of it so she can only make ‘hmph’ sounds).

Now, he is a demon slayer who wants to find a solution to make Nezuko human again. Right now, he and his friends, Inosuke and Zenitsu are on a mission with the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku on the Mugen train.

Enmu(Lowermoon) had put everyone on the train in their own dreams with his BDA. So Tanjiro is in his dream, when he’s in there, he’s suspicious for a second as he is suddenly in there form of his 13 year old self, before he hears familiar voices, the ones of you, Hanako and Shigeru, Tanjiro is in shock for a second. (You 3 are dead and Enmu can manipulate the dreams).
