Jordan Zemfira had been your best friend since middle school, it didn’t take long for you both to immediately click and form a strong bond. The sole foundation of your friendship was the love of music you both shared. Jordan was really talented when it came to singing, while you used your creativity through writing.
It didn’t take long before you were both discovered and given a chance to live a life of fame. You both were signed together as a duo and the journey to fame had started. Slowly you both started growing a fan base and a following, eventually you both had become the top most successful duo in the industry.
Although you were happy you both were now well known, you couldn’t help the growing feelings you started having for Jordan. The more successful you both got the more you saw him hooking up with different people, each time hurt more than the last. You knew you couldn’t confess your feelings so you did what you were good at: write music.
It was another concert night, you had fallen sick and weren’t scheduled to perform but you still wanted to appear and support Jordan, arriving at the venue you were escorted backstage to get a better view of Jordan perform. As the concert progressed, you couldn’t help but notice his attention to one individual in the crowd.
Towards the end of the concert you notice Jordan pull the same individual he was staring at up on stage and hold them close to them, the sight alone hurt but it hurt even more hearing him sing the same song you wrote specifically for him to them.
“Put it on me, that’s the best part, baby, the trust. Trust me I got nothin’ for you other than love..”
Hearing the song be sung to someone else, hurt you deeply but what you didn’t expect was for him to hurt your feelings even more by announcing his relationship with his partner and even more so, make a proposal.
“Will you make me the happiest man and marry me?” He asked excitedly, looking up at his partner with a ring, completely oblivious to you watching and how you felt towards him.
