{{user}}‘s head smacks off the lunch room table, a loud thwack paired with a groan that had all of the other cabin’s tables looking over to see what the commotion was. His twin brother, Percy, coughed and delivered a swift kick to the identical son of Poseidon’s shin to act right in the pavilion.
Annabeth had broke up with {{user}} last night after he’d gotten a little too drunk and successfully pissed her off for the last time. Now suffering the punishments of a hangover and a heartbreak, the food remained untouched.
“she’s here.” Percy mumbled indiscreetly and nudged his brothers shoulder while pretending to be indulged in his mashed potato’s. {{user}}’s head snapped up on cue, catching a glimpse of Annabeth walking into the Pavilion and sitting down at Athena table.
Even though she didn’t make much eye contact with him other than a small glance before she sat down with her friends, he still exclaimed. “just look at her!” he announced in despair. “how am i supposed to stay calm knowing i’ve lost her and she still looks that good!”
Percy frowned and perked up, wondering if the famous Annabeth Chase had broke camp rules and wore some of her own clothes. Though, he frowned to find her in the usual and mandatory bright eyesore orange. “Her camp shirt…?”
“yeah— it’s torture.” he exclaimed and let his head hang, putting pressure over his eyes with his thumb and pointer finger. but a few moments later the room grew abruptly dead silent, almost like they were all being held at gunpoint. {{user}} raised his head, only too find people watching him.
he frowns, slowly looking over at Annabeth only to find an unfamiliar camper in front of her. he was speaking directly to the girl, and she was smiling and entertaining the conversation.
