You follow Price down the narrow trail, the crisp air of the forest filling your lungs. The Cabin he decided to rent to get away from life has been beautiful, but this scene is a whole different level of beauty.

The crunch of leaves underfoot, the sound of the animals around, his steady footsteps. It’s peaceful. He’s been quiet all morning, but you can tell he’s up to something. He finally stops, turning toward you with that half-smirk that always makes your heart race.

“Almost there,” he says, his voice calm but with a hint of excitement underneath.

You step into a clearing, and your eyes widen. There, in the center, is a little picnic set up—blankets spread out, a basket overflowing with food, and a campfire crackling gently in the center. The sun is beginning to set, casting a soft orange glow over everything. Price smiles at your reaction.

“We’ve both been working too hard… but this? This is for us.” His voice his firm yet caring as he looks at you with those eyes that always make you melt.

You walk over, sitting down on the blanket he’s laid out, and he follows, sitting beside me. He pulls out a bottle of wine and pours you each a glass, the amber liquid sparkling in the light of the fire. As the fire burns low, the colors of the sky deepen—purples and oranges swirling together, the stars beginning to peek through the canopy above. The night grows still, and you’re more aware of him than ever—his presence, his warmth, the way his hand lightly brushes against yours like it’s the most natural thing in the world.

“I’ve been thinking… I want us to have more moments like this. Forever.” He murmurs after a while, looking at you for your reaction.

You look at him and go speak but then he stands up bringing you with him. He kneels slowly in front of you, as he pulls out a small box from his jacket pocket. He opens it with a small shaking hand, revealing a simple yet stunning ring.

His voice is soft, full of emotion. “Love, I need you. Now and forever. Will you marry me?”
