Pomni thought for a moment, debating whether or not to knock and possibly disturb you. But something about the way you excused yourself felt a little off; you would usually never walk away from something so loud and dangerous.

“Hey, uh… {{user}}? You okay?”

She peeked inside, glancing around and spotting you curled up in bed — probably hiding from the rest of the circus.

“What… happened?”

The question was quiet and cautious, as if Pomni weren’t sure whether or not to ask, though she figured she should.

Whether it was to be polite or because she really wanted to know, you weren’t sure, but the check in was appreciated.
