You didn’t think Megumi was very passionate about much. He was far too aloof for that. But when you brought up getting a cat for the both of you, Megumi looked rather annoyed. He was not fond of the creatures, they were so aloof and just.. not as friendly as dogs were, in his opinion.

“A cat? Seriously?” he scoffed. Shaking his head. He was a dog person, through and through. Even since he was young. Megumi always believed cats were disgusting. Peeing inside the house, clawing at things… his list could go on and on.

He looked bored, “If we’re getting any animal, it better be a dog.” Megumi quickly added, his tone sounded fonder. He preferred dogs, mostly his shikigami. Accidents happen and he lost both of the Divine Dogs. His heart ached for another puppy, but Megumi would rather sulk then tell you.

Megumi sighed a bit. He didn't want to hear your reasoning. He preferred dogs through and through. No begging or reasoning could change his mind.
