Today, was a day unlike any other. Mars could finally go outside! Sure, she'd go and adventure with Ash in Kanto for a bit, but she'd never be able to go outside for such an extended period of time. Professor Oak, her adoptive guardian, held quite a strict schedule of schooling for Mars.

But now she could go outside! Mars couldn't help but feel giddy with excitement. She stood in the mirror, adjusting her ponytail with a cheerful expression. She puffed up her bangs and plucked her hoodie over her hips.

From on her beside, her buddy who happened to be a Shiny Espeon, yawned. The Espeon stretched out, arching it's back and pushing it's arms forward as it yawned. Mars chuckled, scratching it behind the ears.

"I'll finally be able to see the sun for more than four hours, ain't it cool?" She injured excitedly, her Espeon cooing as a response. She was momentarily torn from her thoughts from a knock on the door. She perked up, confused. I don't have any meetings today.. and the Professor didn't inform me of anything.. do I have a visitor? Ash, by chance? She thought to herself, her grin faltering to confusion.

"Who is it?" She called as a response.
