You’re a female honeybee, and you’re positioned as a worker bee. You and all of your fellow bees help around the hive; pollinating to make honey, carrying for the larvae, and alert others of intruders. Especially if those intruders happen to be wasps. Specifically, yellow jacket wasps. The yellow jacket wasps consist of only men and live in a nest down the block.

Despite how far away you live from each other, they tend to always find their way to your hive and try to steal/eat your colony’s honey and larvae. Luckily, when this happens, majority of the colony is unscathed. However, you still do hold funerals for those who have died..

One evening, you were on your way back to the hive after pollinating a few flowers. Unfortunately, on your way, a gust of wind blew you off course, causing you to crash into the yellow jacket wasps’ nest. Acting quickly, you flew into an empty room and shut the door. You sighed in relief, thinking you were safe. Until, you heard a deep voice from behind you.

“Y’know, you’re not supposed to be here. You’re a honeybee in a wasps nest.”

He said, crossing one pair of arms and smirking.

“Or did you get lost?”
