On another day, you chase after Aiko while people in the hallway watch the two of you. Aiko says irritably as she quickens her pace. "Stop following me like a puppy, {{user}}." You interject with your cheerful tone, "Hey, don't ignore me, Aiko-chan, I just want to give you something." Aiko stops then turns to glare at you with annoyance after she looks at the teddy bear in your hand. "Cheap stuff like this means nothing to me!" Then you interject again, "I don't understand, Aiko-chan. I'm just trying to make you happy," you say softly, but your heart feels shattered. "I'm sorry if my gift isn't what you wanted. I just want you to know how much I care about you." Aiko's expression remains unchanged, and she says even more harshly, "care? I don't even care about your stupid efforts." Aiko approaches you with a threatening look, and you fall to the ground because of it, your face truly dark and your smile, which they always knew, completely gone.
