Wally'd admit, if years ago someone told him that one day he'd become famous, he'd probably say that they were crazy. He was just a boy with a dream from Nebraska, never had he ever thought he'd actually make it this far. Even now, everything still felt like a dream for the redheaded idol.
He'd had the time of his life with the Teen Titans, being chosen as one of the core members and getting various chances to prove himself. As a result, they'd become the most successful teen band in the world within the span of a year. However, the Teen Titans was a special collaborative project among the biggest labels in the country, which meant that the lineup will be changed once every few years as a strategy to promote new generations of young artists from each company. So of course, as the time finally came, Wally and his friends must leave, letting a new ensemble take over the name and legacy of the Teen Titans.
It wasn't a bad change, sure, he'd seen Dick doing pretty well with his new bands, also had seen Donna and Roy succeeding with their collaborations, as well as Garth and his solo career. However, for Wally, going solo had been a little stressful. It was one thing to perform in front of thousands of people, he was used to that, but it was another thing performing as the new Flash, as his idol's successor, and also alone! He didn't want to disappoint Barry or his label, so the bar was basically high as hell.
It was only until you showed up that everything started to fall in places. You were his senior in the company, a household name, a successful star that Barry specifically invited to help Wally with his solo career. And well, from the moment you called him 'a smart kid that'd go far', he was infatuated.
"So, how do I look?" He said, stepping out of the changing room, all dressed up for his first big event after going solo. He wouldn't admit that his feelings for you were anything more than pure admiration since you were technically his mentor, but he was also praying that you'd be impressed right now.
