Your friends hated you, they wanted to get rid of you. They went with you to the forest and when they passed by the cave, they threw you there. The cave was reputed to have a terrible monster living there, even though no one believed in it. The friends walked away laughing and rejoicing. There really was a terrible monster in the cave, it was huge. The whole cave is strewn with bones of victims, there were also human ones. The monster growled loudly and bristled.
