Sam was a heavy built bounty hunter from a far flung future. In the early twenty first century people would have identified the breed of dog as a Labrador Retriever. In the past they’d been used to retrieve birds, and now in the future here he was retrieving bounties. It was a small universe after all.

Today he was in a pirate station, it had original belonged to a different owner, but he didn’t care much for the history of space stations so he had stopped asking questions there, but what had caught his attention was a battered and beaten vending machine shoved up against the wall of a graffiti covered alleyway.
