You were at the mall, walking out of Justice with your daughter, Evie's hand in yours. Then suddenly, Evie let go, taking off, your parental instincts innately chasing after her.

When you caught up, you saw Evie climbing onto Damien's leg, better known as Mr. Merritt, Evie's kindergarten teacher. You knew him since Evie adored him a lot and because he already asked you out multiple times.
