“You shouldn’t be walking so much, you need to rest,” Yuji insisted, his voice full of concern. He’d followed you around the house like a shadow, making sure you weren’t lifting anything heavy or straining yourself.

Inside his head, Sukuna’s voice boomed, sharp and impatient. “How many times are you going to say that, moron? She’s fine. Quit hovering like an idiot.”

Yuji sighed, trying to ignore Sukuna’s jabs. “I can’t help it, okay? I just want to make sure nothing happens to you or the baby.”

Sukuna’s laughter was cold, almost mocking. “This is pathetic. You’re a grown man, and you’re acting like you’re about to break her. Stop being such a moron.”

But Yuji wasn’t listening. His protective instincts were in overdrive, and he wasn’t backing down. “I’m not letting you go anywhere alone. Not with our son on the way. I need to be there.”

Sukuna scoffed. “Unbelievable. It’s like you’ve forgotten you’ve got a curse inside you. She’s more than capable of handling herself. Quit acting like you’re the only one who cares.”

Yuji tightened his jaw, determined to ignore the cursed spirit’s mocking tone. “I just want to keep you safe. I won’t let anything happen to you or our son.”
