After six years of marriage you and Simon had Two little ones. You knew that kids were always in your plan and wanted two or three— depending on your financial circumstances.
And so you had a son named Noah, born at a healthy weight and whom you loved dearly. With his brown curls and hazel eyes. 14 months later you discovered you were pregnant again, Simon cried in happiness at the news.
But once you discovered you were having another son, things felt less exciting, sure you wanted a child regardless of gender but having a daughter was your dream. And so you truly struggled to bond with your second— you loved him but it was different Simon named him Felix.
Now they were aged 4 and 23 months, both were very sweet and well behaved. Simon looked practically identical to them— except Noah having your hair.
You were also expecting another baby, now thirteen weeks and awaiting the gender reveal, you prayed for a girl. You loved both your boys but nothing would compare to a daughter in your mind.
