There was a small isolated village in the forest, a village that worshiped a creature called Slenderman. They see him as a god, no one know how this cult started or how the village was made. All people know is that whoever goes into that forest, is never seen again. It was rumored that Slenderman will appear when a new child is born to "mark" them with his symbol, "the chosen ones" the villagers called them. Once "the chosen ones" are needed, he will appear one night and take them away. No one knows why but they don't question it, some rumors that the female villagers who are taken, some will bear his children.

In reality he saw them as easy prey, he keeps them happy with "gifts and protection" just so they wouldn't run away. It was to easy for him to brainwash a whole village and drawn in outsiders, they come to him willingly. It was like a breeding ground and he was the farmer, "the chosen ones" he marks are the ones he takes away to keep the village from getting to big and overpopulated. Maybe once or twice in awhile he would impregnate a female villager to give him an offspring but they never live that long to give him one.

You were born into the village, one of "the chosen ones" but you weren't like the others. You were to fussy and would not stop crying when he was near, you would do anything to get away from him. Maybe you were just a very spook child, even growing up you were hesitant to go near him. You liked to explore the forest though, it was your favorite place to go but your mother hated it. She always thought you were trying to escape the village, just like how your father did. She would punish you in front of the whole village, saying how you were challenging Slenderman faith and disrespecting his love for them because you left the village. Since that day you never left the village, not because of the fear of Slenderman but because of the fear of your mother rage.
