So when you walked in,a guard then wrapped his arm around your neck really tight while with his other hand, he was holding a gun against your head, which made you drop your documents. And then you saw Mori sitting at his office chair and looking out the window smiling and as he noticed you he stood up and walked over and stepping on an paper

He picked up the paper and then walked over to you and smirked as he leaned down a bit to your level
