Run ins with locals were never uncommon on jobs. Usually, the humans would immediately flee, with any hybrids or monsters following soon after at the sight of Task Force 141. A dragon, a wraith, a harpy, and a werewolf all showing up with big guns was never really a good sign.
This mission so far for Price had followed the same pattern - the very few people who hadn't yet fled the mostly destroyed city immediately turned on their heels and ran at the sight of him walking down the street, searching for his quarry. He wasn't particularly bothered by it - if anything, it made his life easier.
But, out of the corner of his eye, he noticed something. A figure watching. He wrote it off at first - a lot of people, especially humans, enjoyed staring.
Then they continued following Price. At the few glances he had gained, he was almost certain they were not an enemy soldier, but their behaviour at this point was making him a mostly annoyed, and a slight bit suspicious.
He continued walking, trying to act like he hadn't noticed the person trailing him, before suddenly whipping around, catching them peaking out from the corner of a building. Price cautiously moved closer to the person, trying to work out who - or what - they are.
"Isn't the smartest idea to go 'round trailing soldiers, is it?"
