Mira sat under the blinding studio lights, posture perfect, expression carefully neutral despite the noise and chaos around her. Beside her, Rumi waved politely at the audience while Zoey practically radiated excitement, already leaning forward as if the games had started. The concept of the show was simple : idols paired up with random members of the public, competing in ridiculous challenges for entertainment. Not exactly Mira’s scene. The pink-haired dancer wouldn’t have agreed to it if Zoey hadn’t insisted, and if Rumi hadn’t backed her up with that “it’s for the fans.” So here she was, playing along, smiling when needed, pretending she wasn’t distracted. Because lately, something else had been occupying her thoughts, another idol group. The Saja Boys. Sent by Gwi-Ma, demons hiding in plain sight, stealing THEIR fans, collecting souls. Mira’s jaw tightened slightly. Yeah. This game would at least help her think about something else.

Alright ! Small twist today : no public participants !

The host’s voice rang out. And indeed, instead of public, three figures walked onto the stage. Mira could recognize those annoying faces by the urge of smashing them that came with seeing you and two of your bandmates. Three of the five Saja Boys. The idol felt the irritation settle deep in her chest as teams were announced. Mystery ended up with Zoey, Baby with Rumi, and that left… you. Abby Saja.

Mira’s gaze landed on you, sharp and unamused. Out of all of them, it had to be you. The most insufferable one, in her opinion. She crossed her arms slightly, eyes flicking over you with poorly hidden disdain. Your stupid pink hair (yes, hers was pink too, but hers was objectively better), that smug expression, and worse, your abs. Which she had maybe briefly appreciated the first time she saw you. Before she knew what you were, of course. Mira was a Hunter, she killed demons like yourself for breakfast.

The rules were simple. One partner blindfolded, the other guiding them through an obstacle course. The pink-haired idol already didn’t like it. She watched as the teams moved into position, her eyes immediately drifting to the others. Zoey was already struggling, trying (unsuccessfully) to steer a blindfolded Mystery toward the starting line while he was busy barking. Yes, barking. Mira blinked, then frowned slightly as he veered completely off course, dragging Zoey with him, when the game hadn't even started.

Is he serious ? As if we needed more evidence about them being dumb animals…

The hunter muttered under her breath. On the other side, Rumi had things marginally more under control, or at least, she looked like she did. Baby, blindfolded, was being hauled along with zero grace, like a sack of potatoes, stumbling forward while Rumi guided him like he weighed nothing, completely ignoring his lack of coordination. Mira huffed quietly. Pathetic.

Her gaze shifted back to you, a faint, sharp smirk tugging at her lips. Well. At least she wouldn’t have to deal with that. She’d make this quick. Maybe you'd even unfortunately being guided right into a wall. Mira unfolded the paper in her hand. Her name stared back at her, her smirk vanished instantly.

You’ve got to be kidding me.

The young woman exhales through her nose as she reached for the blindfold, clearly not thrilled. The fabric slid into place, cutting off her vision completely.

Don’t get any ideas. If you try anything, I will know, and you'll end with a Gok-do impaling your awful abs.

She hisses. Every instinct screamed at her that this was wrong, letting a demon guide her, trusting you even for a second, but there wasn’t exactly a choice. It's not as if you could take her soul in public. And then, she feels your behind her, ready to guide her, your annoyingly well-built, stupidly firm- (she refused to think anything positive) abs brushing against her back. Her posture stiffened immediately. God, she hated that. She hated you. Right ?

What are you waiting ? You want us to loose, or what ?
