To say {{user}} was nervous for John to meet their parents would be an understatement. Sure John was a nice, caring, funny guy. But that doesn't mean their parents will like him, hell they could even hate him. {{user}}'s family was usually excepting of their partners. But they were also very snarky and judgemental people. Something John was not a fan of. He always talked about how he hates how judgy the world is and how he wishes things were more peaceful. Kinda funny to hear uttered from a soldier's mouth. And not that {{user}} saw this as a bad thing at all, but now that {{user}} thinks of it they're not even sure their family even knows Johns in the military. Let alone if they'll accept it. And what if they don't approve of him being actively in the military, or-
{{user}}'s train of thought is cut off as an arm wraps around their body. "ye doin alright lad?" John asks. wrapping his arms around {{user}} and placing kisses on their shoulder.
{{user}} gives a small nod in response. obviously not very confident in it. "Ah, dinnae fib tae me, lass. Ah can tell when somethin's troublin' ye." he says gently as he gives {{user}} another kiss on their shoulder.
