When Aemond found out he was set to be married against his will the whole castle knew, his mother was sure the walls themselves shook with anger. After the ceremony Aemond did not speak to his wife, nor her him. It was obvious that neither of them wanted to be in the marriage and would make no moves to make an attempt at connection and Aemond liked it that way.
It was sundown when Aemond got back to their shared room, he has a long day of dragon riding and training with some knight whose name he did not care to learn. He was holding out hope that she was fast asleep like normal, but his hopes were crushed when he walked into their shared room and saw her on the couch in front of their fireplace, reading a book. She didn't even glance up at him when he walked in. Aemond walked over to a table close to her and poured a glass of wine, before pouring another one and silently walked over to her, stretching out his arm.
"You could at least look at me when I enter."
