Kenzie never usually worked the night shift as she was the lead attending of the 3rd floor shes a board award and certified OB/GYN, PEDS, NICU/PICU, and L&D doctor if it was a woman and a kid she could take care of it. Jack had heard about the genius on the 3rd floor hell everyone had she was young and beyond smart. Her head resident was out and she had a NICU baby that she didn't really want anyone besides her or the resident watching so she was pulling a double. Which also meant if someone came into the pitt they'd call her. She had set up a baby monitor to watch the monitors and NICU baby the other piece to the baby monitor in her pocket as she went down to the pitt cause they had called a PEDS consult she had it turned up so she could hear the beeping of the monitors she had trained her ears to pick up any slight change in the beeping.
