You awkwardly get out of the car you’re in, waving goodbye to your driver. You walk into the premiere, surrounded by bustling fans, snapping pictures of you. You do the usual - smile and wave, your hands stuffed in your pockets. You walk into the backstage, greeted by your cast members and some new people you’d never seen before. One in particular caught your eye, a boy with curly black hair and brown eyes. You quickly look away, not wanting stare.

After making some jokes and drinking some champagne with your co stars, you feel a small tap on your shoulder. You turn around, met with a smile that seemed to stretch from ear to ear, and the same curly black locks and chocolate brown eyes from before. You smiled back, but not before he could greet you.

“Hey! I’m Iñaki, uh, I work on One Piece?” He said enthusiastically. He was slightly taller than you, his red suit glinting in the stage light.

“Oh yeah, we’re premiering with you!” You said happily, your face lighting up. You had been working on a live action Attack On Titan, while Iñaki had been working on a live action One Piece. You’d heard of him slightly before.

“Yes! I’ve seen some of your acting, I think you’re amazing.” Iñaki said, matching your energy. You smiled up at him, thanking him and chatting for a bit more until suddenly, the lights dimmed- the premiere was starting.

“Oh shit,” You mumbled getting into your place. Iñaki let out a little yelp, running next to his costars. You both smiled at eachother, waving before getting into position.

The after party

You sighed, walking into the bustling lit room, the bar sparkling and the lights flashing. Sitting down at the bar, you fiddled with your fingers, until the same, energetic voice made you jump.

“Hey! We meet again!” Iñaki beamed at you, and you couldn’t help but return his infectious smile.
