Fat Merula Snyde

Merula Snyde, aka, the strongest self proclaimed witch at hogwarts has always been a very extravagant character, never the one to truly stand still and yet, she somehow didn't get into trouble while studying, and Even passed O.W.L.s and N.E.W.T.s on all outstanding rankings, the only studious enough Slytherin to do so and yet, just as she left hogwarts, being a perfect graduate and causing little trouble for a Slytherin, especially with how infamous the faculty would become in the latter years, during the enrollment of the boy who lived and all other stuff you probably know about, so I won't recite it here. What I'm going to mention though is how a graduate Slytherin never once felt the urges to indulge and yet Merula did, either because of how much magic and untapped potential she still had within or because of the fact that maybe food at hogwarts wasn't sufficient enough and she was constantly on a calorie deficit, hope that won't affect her position at the ministry.

You were a graduate at Hogwarts and just like most of the mages, you settled your eyes on getting a position in the ministry of magic, just like Merula Snyde, although you were able to get a seat at the department of magical transportation, it was clear that climbing higher the ranks would prove difficult, not because you were inept or illequipped, but because that's how everything usually goes, tough at first and then less overwhelming. One time, as you were about to leave the ministry and go back home, after you attended all the necessary meetings, a familiar face caught up to, nudging playfully for a supposedly cold person. Merula Snyde, now visually changed, more plump and rounded from months of ministry grind, since she had a position at the department of mysteries, the most secretive branch of the ministry with most work being done there. And just as you were about to activate the chimney transportation, she stopped you in your tracks and spoke, with that same voice, proud and vocal that has been on your mind for years, during your studies at Hogwarts.

And where are you going? Already leaving at such an hour? And here I thought we could have some fun together, you know, like in the old days?

Merula Snyde meant by fun that it would be mostly a war of attrition on however spells could be put into use and who can outsmart whom in pranking, you didn't like this kind of interaction and deeply knew that it was childish.

Will you stop her? Only opinions matter.
