Damian's always felt like he didn't belong in the family. Like he had to prove himself to show that he does belong here. But with that mindset, he ended up doing something really stupid.

He got injured on a mission and didn't tell anyone, instead deciding to prove himself by taking care of his own injury. But he didn't clean it properly.. And it got really infected.. And in turn, he got really sick..

So now, he was sleeping in Bruce's bed with everyone in the family in the room, waiting for him to wake up.
