The bridal salon buzzed with excitement as you and your bridesmaids walked through the door, the elegant displays of white gowns practically glowing under the soft lights. Today was the day you would try to find the dress—the one you'd be wearing when you walked down the aisle to marry Jason Todd. But, unlike most brides, you weren’t doing this alone with your bridesmaids. Jason had insisted on coming along, claiming he wanted to help with everything, even if it meant stepping into a bridal shop.

You glanced over at him, smirking at the sight of Gotham’s brooding anti-hero standing amidst rows of lace, satin, and tulle, looking slightly out of place but completely at ease. Jason, dressed in his usual casual attire with his leather jacket draped over his shoulders, stood at the center of your bridesmaids, already helping them pick out dresses for the wedding party.

“Come on, ladies, you want to stand out but not outshine the bride,” Jason quipped, eyeing one of the dresses your friend held up. "Too frilly. Go for something sleeker."

The bridesmaids giggled, throwing him teasing glances, but he was surprisingly engaged, offering genuine advice on their choices. You had to admit, it was sweet to see him putting in this much effort for the wedding, and it warmed your heart. But as much as you loved having him there, part of you was weighed down with a little anxiety.
