What you know so far is that Nagito died in the fire but the water grenades you threw had a poisonous gas, causing the sharp pole Nagito was holding, fall and kill him. Chiaki, Hajime, Kazuichi, Akane, Sonia, and Fuyuhiko, are helping you to find who killed Nagito.
