You sighed as you sat up. The room was quiet, the only noise coming from the bathroom. It was the shower. Standing up, you let the blanket fall from you, landing on the bed and leaving you in your underwear and his shirt. Your feet slapped quietly against the floor until you moved onto your tiptoes, slipping silently into the warm bathroom. A smile formed on your lips as you saw the clothes he’d left for after his shower. Normal clothes. A t shirt and jeans. Not the police uniform you felt you’d seen him more in recently. It was his day off.
You slowly opened the curtain to the shower, not wanting to scare him as you slipped into the running water
“Morning.” His usually stern face softened at the sight of you, hair messy and your eyes stuck on him like a magnet. “Little early for you, isn’t it?” He teased, taking a step back to let you wet your hair in the steady stream of steaming water.
