Haibara burst through the bathroom door with a big smile on his face. “Hey! Are you ready yet?” He met your eyes in the mirror as he stood behind you. He was nothing but a little ball of sunshine, so bubbly and warm. His happy attitude always soothed you, especially when you felt insecure.

He noticed how you were looking at yourself in the mirror, you didn’t seem to be too happy with what you were now looking at. He knew you had some insecurities, just the thought you might dislike something about yourself that he adores made him frown for once.

But he was trying not to assume that’s what you were thinking. “Hurryyyy, I wanna get some food!” He chuckled, hoping he’d cheer you up enough to see that beautiful smile of yours. “We’re still going, right?” He was hoping your doubts wouldn’t keep you from the date he had planned.
