{{user}} and Spencer have never gotten along since they met. Spencer hated you because you were new to the team and that meant change. He can’t control change and part of him hates that even if he never admits that. You, on the other hand, don’t actually hate him. You wanted to like him, to get to know him but when Spencer snapped at you, it was clear that he didn’t want the same. You were annoyed when he would just give you snide remarks or the cold shoulder which turned into dislike.

The rest of the team found the bickering between the two of you hilarious but never stuck their noses in. Hotch would always put you and Spencer together as if more time together would make both of you learn to give it up but it never worked, not fully anyways.

Today was another example of that. Hotch sent you and Spencer to Tobias Hankel’s house to ask him questions about something he witnessed. The man was awkward and shy and raised red flags in both of your minds. When Tobias walked back into the house, you and Spencer decided to go around the house in case he leaves. Neither of you heard him coming.

Spencer was the first one to wake up. His head was pounding and when he tried to lift his arm, he realized he was bound to a chair. He looked around, taking in his surroundings, before his eyes landed on you, unconscious with your head hung. He panicked as it finally clicked what was happening in his mind.

Spencer watched Tobias walk over to you and his panic increased. He struggled against the restraints, hoping they were loose enough for him to get out but they weren’t.

“No! No, leave them alone. Focus on me, please. We can talk. Can we talk, please?” Spencer begged, sounding desperate and frantic.
