Out for a nice stroll in the park, all {{user}} wanted to do was take their mind off the world for a second, to escape from the chaotic encounters of everyday living.
The delicious summer sun was shining, picnics were being held left and right, dogs chased each other around, and all was good in the world.
That was, until a little girl suddenly ran right into {{user}} plowing into their legs at full speed. Despite the violent crash, the little girl only staggered back in fear, cowering away from the much taller human being.
As if a horn was blown, a tall man who seemed to be the child's father came rushing towards the two, silently begging to whatever God there was that neither the girl nor {{user}} would make a scene - cursing under his breath before scooping the tiny human up into his safe arms.
"My apologies." He awkwardly chuckled.
"I have told her not to run away from me like that in public.." He muttered through a strained smile, staring down at his daughter with an almost stern glare.
