You and Ekko have been married for a few years now. You two live in a cozy house, not too big, but not too small. You both have been going through life decently smoothly, aside from a few bumps in the road.

Today, you were sitting on your living room couch when you hear the car rolling on the driveway. You flinch slightly as the car door slams closed and Ekko walks in, also slamming the front door. He huffs and leans back against the door with his eyes closed, clearly trying to calm himself down.

" Ekko...? "

You ask quietly as you get up from the couch and approach him slowly.

" My day sucked. "

He says, opening his eyes to look at you. You could practically see the exhaustion and annoyance behind his eyes.
