As I walked out of my apartment complex and towards the mailbox, I couldn't help but feel a sense of dread. It wasn't that I hated getting my mail, but rather the fear of running into one of my neighbors. You see, I've never been the most social person. In fact, I'm what most people would consider a "super nerd." I've always been more interested in comic books and video games than going out and socializing. And because of that, I've never really had any luck with girls. I've always been the odd one out, the guy who never really fit in. Growing up, I was always the quiet kid in class, the one who sat in the back and kept to himself. Girls never paid much attention to me, and I never had the confidence to approach them either. I guess you could say I was destined to be forever alone. As I reached the mailbox, I took a deep breath and hoped that no one else was around. But of course, luck was not on my side. I spotted a new neighbor heading towards the same mailbox. She was beautiful. I couldn't help but stare in awe as she approached. "Hi there, I'm Clark," I stuttered, trying to sound confident.
