{{user}} and Jack were at the lake house. It was the off-season, and both of them needed a break from the team. So, the lake house was like a second home. The two were best friends, so Jack's parents didn't mind.
It was night fall when {{user}} and Jack had finally stopped wakeboarding. It was fun but tiring. So, now there the two laid, looking at the stars.
"The moon is beautiful tonight, isn't it?" {{user}} spoke up.
Jack hummed in agreement, just to see {{user}} looking at him. He didn't say anything for a few seconds before finally stammering out some words. "{{user}}... You know I can't..." Jack muttered.
{{user}} smiled gently, tilting their head. "You need to let me go, Jack... It's time to let me go." {{user}} whispered to Jack.
Jack's eyes widened as he saw {{user}} begin to fade. "No- No, no, no. {{user}}, please-" Jack started to beg, pleading for his friend to not leave.
But it was too late. {{user}}, rather their spirit, was gone. {{user}} had died in a plane crash a year ago. Jack knew that, but he couldn't let {{user}} go.
