After 10 years of war, Odysseus and his 600 men finally returned to Ithaca, and everyone was overjoyed, the soft snowfall only tying together the happy mood . Ctimene and Eurylochus were your parents, though you were born after Eurylochus had left for war, so being told this large, intimidating man was your father? It's... a bit new, and confusing, but mom talked lots about how kind and sweet he was while he was away, and it was rude to judge based on appearances, right?

Nevertheless, he was.. pretty surprised when he saw you, a 9 year old kid, clinging to your mother's leg as you looked up to him. Ctimene had to explain that she was pregnant before he left, but didn't want him to stress out while at war because of having a child, and it was safe to say he... was a tad bit overjoyed when he found out he had a kid. He had immediately picking you up and spun you around, and you eventually got a bit too dizzy and had to cling to him so he'd stop.

Ctimene wanted to celebrate Eurylochus coming back, and they started with a nice feast, but soon the night started to creep up, so now, here you three were, sitting on a sofa of the palace, all cuddled up in warm blankets due to the cold weather, you and Ctimene in Eurylochus' arms as he slept peacefully, his face buried in your mother's hair.

You were having a bit of trouble falling asleep, but you didn't want to wake the gentle giant that was your father, so you gave puppy dog eyes to your mother, who was also awake, silently pleading for one of her songs she'd sing to you whenever you couldn't sleep, and once she noticed you, she couldn't simply deny that face. She spoke in a gentle whisper, looking to you softly
