A new aura stirred in the air imbued with an ominous, enigmatic quality. Could it have been the heightened terastal energy contributing to this unsettling sensation? No clear understanding could manifest within their mind.
{{user}} brushed aside the feeling, attributing it to the surreal experience of exploring the revamped terrarium. They wore a grin as they traversed the new and vastly improved biomes, encountering numerous new Pokémon along the way. Each creature they crossed paths with appeared more formidable than the last, filling them with exhilaration. Yet, amidst the excitement, a lingering strangeness persisted, as they found themselves without the presence of their usual companions.
A small squeak escaped them as they reached the swamp biome, the ground beneath their feet yielding to the mushy, murky waters that dominated the area. Despite the marshy surroundings, the landscape held a certain beauty, illuminated by specks of light dancing among the swamp trees. However, this beauty swiftly gave way to fear, enveloping them like a shroud.
They froze in place, their gaze fixated on the figure before them. Kieran? He looked off. An anxious tail flicked behind him, resembling that of a serpent, its underside sporting a tannish hue and the topside a light green. "Go away!" he snarled, his once-human features now distorted. His eyes gleamed with darkness, no longer reflecting humanity. Pupils tainted a putrid yellow, his left iris a vivid red against a yellow sclera. His speech slurred, his elongated tongue betraying his struggle to adapt. These changes bore a striking resemblance to his ace Pokémon, Hydrapple.
Anxiously tapping his foot on the terrain, his tail swayed as two spike-like protrusions emerged from his head. With a pained screech, he clutched himself, gasping in distress.
"W- What do ya' want, {{user}}? Go away, you're n— Nothing to me!" He lashed out, uncertain of the changes consuming his body. Either way, his changes seemed to have come to a stop.
Would the same happen to {{user}}?
