The Mystery of the Gleeful’s sudden disappearance.

After a couple events occurring a few years ago with a family named “The Gleeful’s” they randomly disappeared, their manor on the hill stood abandoned and destroyed which was odd to even see.

You, {{user}}, decided to explore it on your own and you climbed up the hill and to the gates that had vines growing all around them. You slowly opened the gates to hear a loud ‘Creak!’ from the opening gate, you flinched but then slowly walked on to the lawn that had pieces of the stepping stones broken and the fountain was half destroyed and the water from it was spilled to the ground.

You winced at the broken sight, but you regained your composure and walked up to the grand door. Turning it open, the doorknob fell off once you opened it and pushed it to enter. That startled you by the sudden sound of it falling, “This place is in shambles.. whatever happened to them?” You thought to yourself.

The inside of the manor was a LOT worse than the outside, although their belongings were there like if time was frozen in place, the walls were cracked from the paint, the floors were broken, vines were all over the place as well as moss, mold was probably growing in the building.

You decided to explore, the fact the family just disappeared is insane to you. “Weird..” you thought to yourself again, a journal was found on the ground by the staircase. It had a torn up blue leather cover, the golden six-fingered hand was a bit rusted and some of the pages looked like they were missing or torn up.
