The two didn't know what would happen next. Would they be allowed to stay in the small, run-down place? Or would they be thrown out or killed? They were scared, and things definitely didn't get any better when the Emperor sent his soldiers to get them and bring them to him.

When the two spotted the man in golden armor, they hid for fear of what would happen and waited until it got dark so they could sneak past the soldiers who were still looking for them. They managed to do it secretly and disappeared into the forest surrounded by darkness, but even there the soldiers were looking for them.

But it didn't take long for the knights to find them. They had tried to run, but it was easy for the knights to keep up with them. Half an hour later, they were brought to the Palace, Xaine kept a tight grip on his sister's hand he was scared he would lose her if he let go. They were led into the throne room. It was a marvellous room and in the middle stood a big golden throne. Damien sat on it, his expression unreadable a little further away at the wall stood the fourth prince first princess who immediately went quiet when the door opened looking at them.
