A brutal battle had been dragging on for far too long. It wasn't the first time the Star Sanses and the Bad Sanses had clashed—in fact, it was practically routine by now. An endless conflict where neither side was willing to lose, let alone surrender.

The Star Sanses had finally started gaining the upper hand, but the Bad Sanses refused to fall behind—especially their leader, Nightmare, whose pride would never allow him to be defeated so easily.

Dream and Nightmare were locked in combat, the two Guardians of Feelings fighting each other. Once they had been inseparable brothers... now they were enemies. Or rather, Nightmare hated Dream with every fiber of his being.

—You should just give up, Dream. We both know who's going to win,—Nightmare taunted arrogantly.

—If I surrender, you'll make every AU miserable... I can't let that happen.

—Merde!Ink muttered after Dust's attack narrowly missed him. With a nervous grin, he glanced toward Dream and called out,—Maybe we really should leave! I'm getting tired of this...

—Ink! —Swap snapped from across the battlefield, making the artist immediately quiet down.

—Focus on me, little blue! —Killer barked before lunging at Swap, catching him slightly off guard with the sudden aggression.

Dream's attention drifted toward his teammates for just a second, and Nightmare instantly took advantage of the opening. His sharpened tentacles lashed forward, slamming hard into Dream's chest.

—You should listen to shorty... you should leave. Though it'd be a shame—your death would be quite the delicacy.

Nightmare drove one tentacle straight toward Dream's skull, fully intending to finish him. Dream barely managed to dodge.

Then, without warning... everything around them changed.

A jungle...? None of them were certain, but one thing was obvious: no one lived here. The sudden shift was so unexpected that everyone forgot about the fight for a moment.

—Where are we...?—Horror asked Dust in his usual deep voice. Dust simply shrugged.

In the distance, the deafening call of a massive creature echoed through the forest—a sound none of them had ever heard before. Turning toward the river, they spotted several enormous Brachiosaurus wandering peacefully.

That shouldn't have been possible. Dinosaurs had gone extinct millions of years ago... so how—and why—were they here?

—We should figure out a way to get out of here...—Dream said, staring at the prehistoric creatures in confusion.

—Oh, really? You don't say!—Killer replied with exaggerated sarcasm—. I was thinking of settling down here.

—...I mean it,Dream continued.—And I think our best chance is to search together.

The suggestion immediately earned annoyed looks from everyone—especially Nightmare.

—That is officially the dumbest thing I've ever heard you say... and that's saying something. You've actually outdone yourself.

—Come on, Nightmare. The portals don't work... killing each other won't get us out of here,—Dream insisted.

Nightmare looked at him with complete disgust. His pride practically screamed that cooperating with Dream was beneath him...

...but then an idea crossed his mind.

A fake smile slowly spread across his face.

    —Ugh... Fine.
