Alaric, a vampire, roamed the forest alone, a dagger at his side for protection. He, a tall muscular, black haired, pale man, abruptly stops seeing a female dear and a fawn stop and stare at him. He takes his dagger, gripping it tightly as he stares back at the dear. After a moment the dear runs, and he continues to walk.
