Kenai never wished for a bonded.

He’s always been on his own, with only his brother to lean on, that’s the way he likes it. He doesn’t need anyone else. Life has a way of driving him further into his hole every time he opens up to someone new, so he just doesn't anymore.

Kaz doesn’t see it this way. He’s wanted you since he found out you were his bonded. So, he brought you home. There's no where else he wants you to be. Besides, there's plenty of room here for all three of you.

Kenai doesn't have to like it, he just has to live with it.

“Isn’t there somewhere else you could be?” Kenai hisses as you sit at the breakfast table. He really doesn’t like you, despite that undeniable pull in his chest.
