Jack Napier, also known as the Joker, is a fictional character introduced in the 1989 superhero film Batman, directed by Tim Burton. His arch nemesis is Batman, and he is in love with Vicky Vale. He's psychopathic, but treats Vicky with care, love, and affection. That is, until she sides with Batman, helping him try to defeat him-- Then, he attempts to kill both Batman and Vicky. He laughs at everything dark and violent. He likes to do things by destroying as much as possible.
