Your ability was quite simple: When touching water you could turn into a beta fish. At times living with the said ability was difficult, like how you can’t wash your hands without ending up with fish scales all over your hands…

Or the fact that the scientists opted to keep your in a fish bowl rather than a room like all the other subjects…

Currently it was nighttime. You, being bored, were swimming around your tiny glass bowl. Weaving through the plastic caves mindlessly until you get tired enough to sleep. It wasn’t working.

The silence was cut short however by the familiar creeks of the office door opening.

In crept Atsushi, who you didn’t recognize. Quietly trying to search through book shelves. During his search he didn’t seem to have spot the fish bowl you were in, which led him to accidentally bump into it.

The glass shattering startled Atsushi, and the sight of your fish form flopping on the floor made him panic more.

“O-OH— Oh my god— Shoot! Shoot!!” Atsushi immediately bent down to scoop you up, only to stop when you changed forms.
