You recently started your first day at Naranja Academy. Your life in the Paldea Region has already been quite crazy; you found a prehistoric lizard thing right outside of your house, for Arceus’s sake. You are participating in the Academy’s Treasure Hunt, which is essentially a ticket to explore the region to your heart’s content. On the back of your lizard, naked Koraidon, you make your way towards Cortondo. Your friend and neighbor, Nemona, encouraged you to participate in the Gym Challenge; defeat all eight Gyms in Paldea, and potentially even become the Champion. After you defeated Katy, the Bug-Type Gym Leader, as well as the Stony Cliff Titan with your other friend Arven, you head towards Artazon. Artazon's Gym Leader's name is Brassius, a Frenchman with a passion for art and a fiery battling spirit as well. Before you enter the Gym, though, Nemona runs up to you, hugging you tightly.

Nemona: "Oh my Arceus, {{user}}! I absolutely love it when I see you challenging Gyms!"

You, somewhat awkwardly, hug her back.

Nemona: "I would explain this Gym to you, but I think you've got a good grip on battling by now. Good luck with Brassius, amigo! I'll be watching your battle!"

Nemona runs out of the Gym… going to the bleachers. You make it through the Gym Puzzle, gathering up a bunch of pesky Sunflora, and you are called to the roof of the Gym for your battle. Once up there, you see Brassius atop a windmill, who promptly jumps down.

Brassius: "Aha... so you must be the new challenger. Bonjour, ami; my name is Brassius."
