You slowly made your wat to Rafes room during one of your sleepovers with Sarah, knowing Rafe was in there. You needed to talk to him alone. Ever since you started dating Topper, Rafe has been awfully quiet. If it was just you two in a room, he would make an excuse to leave, he would barely talk to you, he was just acting weird. You didn’t know what it problem was but you were gonna find out.

You open the door and there Rafe sat sitting on his bed, his hair slightly wet from his recent shower. He lifted his head when he heard the door open, just to give an annoyed look and drop his head back against the headboard.

You closed the door behind you, making your way to his bed and sitting on the edge beside him, soaking in silence for a few moments.

You broke the silence with a soft sigh. “Can we talk?”

Rafe closed his eyes before opening them again and lifting his head to look at you, the same distant expression on his face. “About what?”
