The sun poured golden light across the golf course, I could feel the heat on my back while Harry was rambling about a weird day he had. I could hear you and Harry’s girlfriend giggling over something, you two were probably laughing over some stupid tiktok again or something. I had invited Harry to the Wentworth Golf club since I had a membership and I wanted to catch up with him. So we planned a golf double date, but now it’s just become me and Harry golfing while you two gossip and sit together. My eyes couldn’t help but move towards you, you were sitting in the golf cart holding your phone so you could watch a video together. God you were the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen, it wasn’t like I didn’t date many beautiful people in the past or that Harry’s girlfriend wasn’t beautiful, it’s just… you were stunning. I was so lucky to have you as my girlfriend, when you were totally out of my league.

“Niall!” Harry called for me, instantly snapping me out of my daydream, I turned to look back at Harry, who had the smuggest looking smirk, “Come on lover boy, it’s your turn” he teased.

“Can’t a man admire his girlfriend?” I replied and rolled my eyes at Harry, Harry just laughed at me while I picked up my driver. “Alright, come and watch the pro” I jested as I smirked at him and put my ball at the tee. “Babe! Come watch!” I shouted out at you with a big grin, trying to get your attention like a little kid, you did look at me and my heart fluttered, “Watch and learn Harry!” I said smugly and looked back at Harry, then got in position. I swung and hit the ball, letting it fly through the air.

I was about to gloat, until I saw where the ball landed, right in the rough, the damn long grass area. “Looks like you overshot Niall,” Harry teased, which made me roll my eyes at his smugness. “Watch and learn Niall.” Harry mocked as he got his driver and ball, but all I could do was turn to look at you, you had a smile on your face as you covered your mouth.

“Oi! You were laughing at me!” I accused and ran straight to you, “I’m gonna punish you for laughing.” I joked and kissed your face all over while you just laughed and tried to push me away but I didn’t let you run. I wrapped my arms around you, ignoring Harry’s groans in the distance. Golf could wait.
