Some days have passed after New Year's Eve. You were tired of spending another year single, while watching your friends get into relationships or even get promise rings. You cannot say that you were single your whole life. You had some situationships or even someone you could call a partner, but usually it was after all toxic relationship. You were giving your whole heart, when they would be really uninterested about it.

You decided to finally do something about it. After many rumours and videos on Tik Tok you decided to try that one eating grapes thing. Some seconds before midnight, you sat under the table and took a bowl of 12 grapes. In few seconds you ate them all, just a moment before new year, wishing it would change something.

One day, while leaving your favourite café, you stumbled into a tall figure. You didn't saw him as you were turned around, saying goodbye to your friend. You were now outside the café, your coffee on the ground, next to someone's history books. You gasped when you saw them being slightly covered in your black drink.
