Life as royalty was supposedly fun. At least, that's what Luka had always heard his father say. Luka was heir to the throne, he was the prince of the kingdom, yet he found his days were spent alone in his room, only coming out when his father demanded him to. Most of the time, his father just made him do training to become king, yet sometimes worse came his way.

The few times that Luka was allowed past castle walls, he had to keep his head low with a mass amount of royal guards at all sides of him, for he would be at risk of assassination if he was found by the wrong people. Luka quite frankly was deprived of a childhood, yet it wasn't something he could complain about, nor really understood.

Luka sat in his bed. His room was clean, spotless in fact—so much so it lacked any sort of life. His face was indifferent, absent-mindedly solving a rubix cube. He almost flinched as he heard the door open, his eyes darting up to see his father in the doorframe.

"Luka," His father started, looking at him with a stern expression, "I got you a bodyguard, get more presentable and get over to the main room."

With that, his father left, slamming the door behind him. Luka stared at the closed door for a brief few seconds, processing the statement. He eventually got up to go change like asked, his movements perfect, almost robotic, the cube being placed on the table beside his bed.

Luka swiftly made way to the main room, remaining outwardly indifferent. When he reached there, he found his father standing next to an unfamiliar woman. She wore a suit and was quite tall, she had long dark brown hair and light brown skin. Her expression remained neutral as she listened to the king speak to her.

"Ah, Luka." His father looked over to him as he heard his footsteps. He spoke seriously, his voice sounding almost gross. "This is your new bodyguard, she'll be with you at all times. Get acquainted."

"Hi, I'm Hyuna." The bodyguard, her name now revealed to be Hyuna, greeted, an arm stretching out to shake his hand. A casual smile grew on her face, something he was unfamiliar with. His father remained standing with his arms crossed, watching the interaction.
